A little about my background...

After graduating from Film School in 1990, I went straight to work as a Freelance Cameraman for the multi-award winning American television program - CBS "60 Minutes" for the following 20 years.

CBS "60 Minutes" is an American television institution. It is the longest running and most iconic Prime-Time news/documentary

show in all of TV history. (Now entering its 54th season!)

The programme revolutionised broadcast journalism with it's pioneering documentary/magazine format. I worked on hundreds of stories based out of CBS's London Knightsbridge bureau whilst filming all over the globe, (over 60 countries to-date).

Since 2011, I have continued to work as a freelance lighting cameraman and DP based in Nottingham and I continue to invest extensively in modern camera & lighting equipment.

The experience I gained whilst working for CBS Television has provided me with a very wide and varied skill set.

This ranged from filming the opening night of the opera at

La Scala - Milan to interviewing the President of Iran in Tehran,

- from covering the Monaco Grand Prix to documenting the Russian nuclear test sites of Kazakhstan.

All of the interviews were shot with multiple cameras and great care and a high production value were allocated to each of the stories,

A value that I still employ in my current work ethic & film production.

Additional freelance work away from CBS have included projects such as: shooting behind the scenes of Star Wars at Abbey Road Studios for Lucas Film, filming a one hour documentary for HBO about a sonar search for the Lochness Monster! and a TV documentary about a paraplegic skydiver.

My corporate clients over the past few years have included such companies as: Capita, Capgemini, Alstrom, the NHS and

the DeVere Group amongst many others.

My video work has ranged from large multi-national Aerospace companies to small SME's and startups. I have filmed everything from graduation ceremonies and spinal surgery to covering international conferences at home & abroad.

Corporate work is always varied & interesting and I approach it with the same professional focus as my broadcast camerawork.
